These are some throw back photos from the spring of 2013, living in Italy. For three months, I lived in the small village of Colorno, north of Parma. This is the region of the real Parmigiano Reggiano cheese! While I later moved to the city of Milan for my internship, these first few months contented the heart of a small town girl. I rented a car on the weekends to get around to travel to different areas, but during the week, I resided in seclusion.
A photo of my school, ALMA, in the small town of Colorno.
The gardens of ALMA.
Typical morning coffee.
Just being American at my school.
The best cheese in the world is made here!
Chilling in on a Friday night with classmates, cooking and drinking wine.
Out to eat at 1 of 2 restaurants in Colorno! Look at my short haircut!
Horse meat with peppers and potatoes is a Parma specialty dish. It was pretty good actually!
